Wall of Art – Spinning Yarns – Call For Artists

Guelph, ON Monday May 26th, 2014 — On Monday, May 26th 2014, the Guelph Arts Council, the Guelph Civic Museum and the City of Guelph are pleased to open the call for submissions for the third installment of the “Wall of Art” exhibition series. This exciting series aims to showcase the breadth of local talent that we have here in Guelph as well as provide artists with a unique opportunity to share their work with a larger audience.

Submissions for the third installment, entitled “Spinning Yarns”, are open now and will run until Sunday, June 22nd at 5pm. Selected works will be shown from Monday, July14th to Sunday, September 28th at the Guelph Civic Museum (52 Norfolk Street) with an opening reception on Friday, July 25th at 7pm at the Guelph Civic Museum.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, just imagine the stories artists can tell as they weave together texture, colour, form, passion and imagination. Have your stories heard in “Spinning Yarns”.

For more information about the call for submissions and show, please contact David Lander at [email protected] or 519.836.3280.
