Wall of Art juried show – Space and Place at Guelph Civic Museum

IMG_1315Guelph, ON, January 23, 2014:  The Wall of Art at Guelph Civic Museum has a new look with the launch of a quarterly juried art show coordinated in partnership with the Guelph Arts Council. 

 The first installment of the Wall of Art exhibition series is themed Space and Place, and features work by Heather Nagel, Joseph Kratochvil, Susan Bronya Mason, Barabara Shaw,  Karin Silverstone, and Maggie Leighton.  These works were selected from over 80 submissions by more than 40 artists. The Wall of Art series aims to showcase the breadth of local talent in Guelph while providing artists with a unique opportunity to share their work with a larger audience.

Space and Place will be displayed until Sunday, March 30 at Guelph Civic Museum, 52 Norfolk Street.  The Museum is open daily from 1pm to 5pm.
