Step back to medieval times at Guelph Civic Museum

Treasure Venture - Ian and IlyaLooking for something fun to do with the family this upcoming PD day?  On Friday, June 8 from 1 to 4:30 p.m., Guelph Civic Museum and Blackthorn Productions offer an afternoon of medieval fun featuring combat trained Knights, graceful Ladies and Lords of the realm, medieval demonstrations and displays. The afternoon event offers a hands-on opportunity to explore medieval history.

Blackthorn Productions is a Guelph based company that specializes in medieval education and entertainment. “Our purpose is to dispel common misconceptions about the middle ages and we endeavour to do this through the use of living history presentations that provide fun-filled, family oriented experiences,” explains Ian Walsh, Artistic Director and Earl of Blackthorn Productions. The organization entertains children and adults of all ages across southern Ontario.
