Portraiture artist (and program assistant) makes headlines
One of our staff members was recently featured on the front page of the Guelph Mercury! Lauren Ellis is an extremely talented artist whom we are lucky enough to have as a Program and Event Assistant here at the museum.
In the article, Ellis talks about her her remarkable portraiture and pencil drawings, her decision to pursue a career as an artist, and her various teaching endeavours. It’s a wonderful glimpse into the creative mind of one of Guelph’s top up-and-coming artists.
You can see some of Lauren’s amazing pencil portraits on her website.
Here is a picture of Lauren applying body paint at our Munsch exhibit opening. Way to go Lauren!
