McCrae House renovations start November 28

The McCrae House National Historic Site is undergoing renovations that start on November 28. Renovations include electrical and technology upgrades to the coach house to support educational programming, a storage room and repainting, exterior lighting projects and washroom renovations. City staff are also considering the replacement of perimeter fencing in the backyard of McCrae House.

The City’s Heritage Planner, forestry advisers and accessibility staff have been engaged with the process. Every effort will be made by the City to protect and preserve shared neighbourhood trees and historical features.
