May is Museum Month

Visit Guelph and Wellington County Museums and win a stay at Langdon Hall

Guelph/Wellington County ON, April 30, 2018: Explore the amazing cultural scene that Guelph and Wellington County have to offer this May. For May is Museum Month, museums and galleries in Waterloo Region and Wellington County are giving away a free stay at Langdon Hall. Participating attractions include: Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, Castle Kilbride, City of Waterloo Museum, Fashion History Museum, , Homer Watson House & Gallery, Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Steckle Farm, The Clay & Glass Gallery, Waterloo Region Museum, TheMuseum, University of Waterloo: Earth Sciences Museum , Wellington County Museum & Archives, and Guelph Museums: Guelph Civic Museum, McCrae House.

Visit any of these museums during the month of May to fill out a ballot and enter to win a prize basket that includes museum passes, artwork, memberships and more and of course a stay at the beautiful and luxurious Langdon Hall. Guests will be given a ballot upon entry and must visit a minimum of two museums for their ballot to be entered in the draw. The winner will be announced June 15th.

Each museum is offering new and exciting exhibitions and programs for the month of May. At Guelph Civic Museum, join the Guelph Guild of Storytellers on May 2nd for a free evening of storytelling, or take in a free performance by storyteller Brad Wood during Fourth Friday, May 25th. At McCrae House, celebrate the official opening of the renovated Coach House and the launch of poppy season on Saturday, May 12th.  At Wellington County Museum, experience The Tarot Lovers: Works of Heart exhibition before it closes May 27th.
