Lace in the Limelight

GUELPH, ON, October 15, 2014: Cindy Rusak of the Stratford Festival is set to give a talk at the Guelph Civic Museum about the use of lace in the theatre on Sunday, October 26. The talk is part of a lecture series offered in conjunction with Guelph Museums’ exhibition, The Art of the Lacemaker (Revisited).

Prior to the talk, attendees will have an opportunity to tour the exhibition with guest curator Joyce Dawson. The exhibit features historical and contemporary lace drawn from the extraordinary Ruhland Collection, exploring the significance and cultural value of this art form.
