Indie folk band and Guelph’s artist-in-residence kick off the Fourth Friday summer series at Guelph Civic Museum

GUELPH, ON, June 21, 2019: Four-piece indie folk band ‘Wooly’ will perform at Guelph Civic Museum Friday, June 28 as part of the museum’s Fourth Friday concert series.

Wooly represents a collaboration of unique musical talents brought together through a common vision. Emerging from diverse musical experiences and influences, members strive to present a fusion of folk, jazz, rock and alternative that is truly original.

Also at this Fourth Friday event, Guelph’s 2019 artist-in-residence, Mallory Tolcher, will be on site throughout the evening to introduce her residency project.

Tolcher’s project, titled #GuelphMovesMe, will promote physical fitness on Guelph’s trails through an outdoor art exhibition along the Silvercreek and Eramosa River trails beginning in September.

Admission to the Civic Museum on Fourth Fridays is free after 5 p.m. with concerts beginning at 7 p.m.

Weather permitting, performances will take place on the front patio.
