Catch the Kitchen Party at Guelph Civic Museum Saturday, October 27
Join us at Guelph Civic Museum for an afternoon of traditional Irish and Scottish music and dance as the museum hosts the Riverside Celtic College’s Kitchen Party. The fun starts at 2 pm Saturday, October 27 and all ages are welcome!
“We’re excited to bring the Celtic Kitchen Party to Guelph Civic Museum! Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a fun Ceili with easy dance steps described by the caller so that anyone can easily kick up their heels and join in the fun!” said Eva McCauley, Director of Riverside Celtic College. Participants will enjoy lively banter, dancing and cracking jigs and reels played by Kitchen Party Trio: Cape Breton fiddler Dan MacDonald, multi-instrumentalist Brian Taheny, originally from Sligo, and bodhran player Jacob McCauley. Anyone can join in; easy dance steps are called by our wonderful Irish caller, Siobhan Harrop.
This event is presented by Riverside Celtic College and is generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
