5 Live Rock to give free concert on patio of Civic Museum

GUELPH, ON, June 21, 2015: The all-girl rock band 5 Live Rock will play a free concert this Friday on the patio at the Guelph Civic Museum, atop the recently landscaped hill, and nearby the new John McCrae statue. The concert is part of Guelph Museums’ Fourth Fridays series.

5 Live Rock is a Guelph-based band that plays alt-rock, punk and grunge with a hint of pop. Earlier this year, they won a contest to open the Elora Ice Jam concert. 5 Live Rock will perform at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Guelph Civic Museum.

Admission to the Civic Museum on Fourth Fridays is free after 5 p.m. and visitors will have access to all current exhibits, including Ordinary Lives, Extraordinary Times and Remembering In Flanders Fields.

Guelph Civic Museum is located at 52 Norfolk St.
