FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Party Like It’s 1867 at Guelph Museums’ Febulous!

GUELPH, ON, February 9, 2017: Guelph Museums will host the second annual Febulous! on Thursday, February 23 at Guelph Civic Museum.  This year we will Party Like It’s 1867, recognizing Canada at 150 and Guelph at 190. The event includes a cocktail reception, live auction and the opportunity to bid on unique experience packages. The Auctionista returns as hostess promising a fun, lively event.

Funds raised through this event support Guelph Goes Global, a series of exhibitions produced by Guelph Museums that tell local stories with worldwide impact.  This year’s exhibition, To the Gathering Place, explores stories of migration and immigration to Guelph from pre-Confederation to the present day.

Last year, with support from our inaugural Febulous! event, Guelph Museums presented Lucile: Fashion. Titanic. Scandal – a ground-breaking exhibition that garnered international acclaim for Guelph Museums.

Febulous! begins at 5:30 PM, with the live auction at 7 PM.

Tickets are $10 each and are available at guelphmuseums.wpengine.com.

Guelph Civic Museum is located at 52 Norfolk Street.
