July 20, 2013, Guelph, ON- If the winds are right this July 26th, Fourth Fridays evening at Guelph Civic Museum, get ready for stunt kite ballet with quad and dual line kites, kite displays and kids kite making activities with the Royal City Fun Flyers. Combine this with whimsical tunes on the ukulele with Guelph musician Olivia Borkosky performing at 6:30 and 8 pm and you are in for a fun evening!

The Royal City Fun Flyers are a group of people that like to make and fly kites and are looking forward to sharing their passion with museum visitors. To them, “go fly a kite” is a good thing!

This event coincides with the exhibition of The Avro Arrow: A Dream Denied, a travelling exhibit from the West Parry Sound Museum tracing the remarkable story of the rise and fall of two of Canada’s greatest technological achievements:  the Avro Arrow and Iroquois engine. This exhibition continues at Guelph Civic Museum until July 28th.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
