Guelph Museums celebrates Culture Days: A Stitch in Time

GUELPH, ON, September 15, 2016- Guelph Museums will celebrate Culture Days with free admission all day, all weekend and fashion-inspired activities for all ages.

Inspired by the exhibition, Lucile: Fashion. Titanic. Scandal., there will be sewing activities for all skill levels, dress up, crafts, and a chance to walk the catwalk.

Stitch, embroider, bead, and mend like Lucile with the Canadian Embroiderers Guild Guelph who will be at the Civic Museum Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Culture Days is a nationwide arts and culture movement to raise awareness and engage Canadians in their communities.  It runs from September 30 to October 2.

Guelph Civic Museum is located at 52 Norfolk Street. McCrae House National Historic Site is located at 108 Water Street.
