Mind the Gap – Intergenerational Connectivity between Seniors and Youth

Organized by Centre for Artistic & Social Practice (Hamilton, ON) and presented at Guelph Civic Museum, Mind the Gap is an exhibition of artworks created by a community of seniors and youths working with practicing artists in Hamilton and Guelph. Through co-creative artmaking, the project aimed to decrease isolation among the participants and to bridge their generational gap.

Calling all youth, mid-aged and elders to connect with one another in a one-on-one engagement live at Guelph Museums! You will either be paired with someone from a different generation, or you can bring a friend or family member: your choice.  Partners will participate in a short activity designed to create connection, trust and friendship in under 10 minutes, even between strangers!
