Create an embossed beaded poppy pin during this two-day workshop, while learning about traditional teachings, Indigenous raised beading techniques, and working with deer hide.

All are welcome (recommended 15 years old and up). Comfort with hand sewing is an asset. Participants should bring a basic sewing kit, including small flat nose pliers, small scissors, thimble, and magnifier.

Lunch: Participants are welcome to bring a bagged lunch, to pick up lunch in the area, or to select a lunch add-on at registration from a pre-set menu provided by Bardo, priced at $35.00 per person, per day.

Preregistration via Eventbrite is required. Limited to 20 participants, including six spaces reserved for Indigenous participants.

Note: The workshop will run from 10:00am to 4:30pm daily. The workshop fee is $257.00+HST ($192.00 registration + $65.00 for poppy-making kit materials). Indigenous participants will only be charged for the kit fee and lunch, if selected.
