Miniature Painting Workshop: A River Runs Through It
December 7 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Create medieval-styled miniature paintings with Debbie Thompson Wilson, focused on water themes based on medieval manuscript illuminations. Participants will work on images of water birds, aquatic life (real and imagined), traveling by water, and zodiac images of Pisces and Aquarius. Participants can choose which image they wish to work on, from simple to more complex, depending on their abilities. Some watercolour experience is helpful, but there will be lots of guidance on painting in a medieval manner (including how to apply real gold leaf).
