This month, Layla Staats, Mohawk water protector, film maker, and musician will share a personal, multidisciplinary performance including traditional songs that were part of her reclamation journey, personal stories behind her new upcoming album, and live performance of her brand new solo debut.

Layla uses her voice, her films, her music, and sometimes her body on the front lines, to defend the Land and Water. Her unique ability to emotionally connect the audience to the issues leaves people forever changed, inspiring compassion, respect, and admiration for Indigenous people and their roots.
