Fourth Fridays burst with a celebration of music, history, creativity and community connection. Each month, enjoy free admission to the Civic Museum from 5–9 pm, with live performances starting at 7 pm. Concerts will take place on the patio, weather permitting.

This month, experience the enchanting sounds of Guelph-based duo Emilyn Stam and John David Williams. Known for their unique blend of clarinet, violin, and accordion, Emilyn and John David craft a sound that is steeped in European folk traditions and alive with contemporary creativity.

Having met in the vibrant Lemon Bucket Orkestra, the duo has since carved out a distinctive musical path, drawing inspiration from the social dance music of central France. Their performances are rich with storytelling, improvisation, and a deep respect for the traditions they carry forward.

This concert marks the release of their fourth album, Iris—a collection of clarinet and violin renditions of dance tunes from the Limousin region of France. Audiences will be treated to selections from Iris alongside favorites from their previous albums, including the Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated Honeywood and the whimsical The Farmer Who Lost His Cow.

Note: There will be construction on Cork Street between Norfolk Street and Dublin Street North during this event. Access to the Civic Museum from the top of the hill (Cork and Dublin) will be maintained for the duration of the work.
