Celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, with a vibrant performance by UW Mehfil, the University of Waterloo’s South Asian Music Club, and a host of Diwali-inspired activities, including mehndi painting and festive crafts.
Through music and storytelling, UW Mehfil captures the spirit of Diwali: light over darkness, unity in diversity, and the joy of coming together in celebration. Their repertoire spans Bollywood classics, soulful Sufi melodies, and energetic Western fusions, creating an unforgettable soundtrack for the evening. Expect heart-stirring ballads, foot-tapping rhythms, and an atmosphere brimming with warmth, colour, and festivity.
Admission by donation starting at 5 p.m., with the performance starting at 7 p.m. Cash bar.
