Dots to Mindfulness Workshop with Roxana Bahrami

Roxana Bahrami will teach a half-day art class on pointillism (dot painting). Participants will paint a set of four coasters using small dots of colour to create patterns and motifs. Roxana will highlight straightforward design principles and basic colour theory while encouraging participants to find the connection between this quiet art form and mindfulness.

Fees:
Registration is $45 + HST payable in advance, plus a kit fee of $5 for all supplies, payable in class to the instructor, cash only.
About the artist:
Roxana Bahrami is the owner/operator of Dots to Mindfulness Guelph, ON Canada. A self-taught artist, Roxana advocates using pointillism to focus the mind, enhance creativity and promote relaxation. Her hands-on workshop will help students tap into their creative side while learning about the benefits of dot painting. Roxana is a member of the Guelph Arts Council and showcases her work at the Guelph Studio tour and in the Guelph Civic Museum’s Hilltop Shop.
