Guelph Museums COVID-19 Update

Guelph Museums is monitoring and following the advice of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health with regard to COVID-19. The Museum remains open during regular hours. Events will be assessed on a case by case basis using criteria provided by Health Canada.

Screening at the Museums

We are asking people not to enter the Museums if they have a fever or cough or are likely to have been exposed to COVID-19.

Enhanced cleaning

The Museums are continuing to be diligent in cleaning and disinfecting practices,  especially in high-touch areas like the Families Gallery, elevator buttons, washrooms, public-facing counters, door handles, and railings.

Guelph Museums Event Cancellations and Postponements:

March Break camp has been cancelled.

March Break at the Museum activities at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. are cancelled with exception of the Guelph Outdoor School on Tuesday, March 17 as these activities will be happening outdoors.

History Bites: Behind the Scenes (March 18) and History Bites: Guelph Circa 1999 (April 15), postponed, date TBD.

The Grizzlies Film Screening & We Matter Presentation (March 18), postponed, date TBD.

Exhibition Opening Reception and Fourth Friday: Tannis Slimmon (March 27), postponed, date TBD.

The Fight for History book tour event with Tim Cook (April 22), TBD.

Fourth Friday: Murray Foster (April 24), postponed, date TBD.

Doors Open After Dark (April 24), postponed, TBD.
