With an adoring and enthusiastic local following\, we expect the room will be rocking – so arrive early for the best seats. \nAdmission by donation starts at 5 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. Cash bar available. \nAbout the Artist\nWake your senses\, ease your spirit and forget your troubles with The Woebegones\, a captivating Guelph-based duo featuring Jen Rafter on vocals and Aaron Way on guitar. \nDelivering soul stirring sets\, shared with an authenticity and openness that soothes and inspires. \nRafter’s powerful voice rings deep\, channeling influences of soul\, blues\, folk and country while Way’s affinity for the guitar follows in a fashion all his own. \nWhat began as a pandemic experiment in livestreaming for friends has flourished into an eclectic repertoire and enchanting collection of original songs about love\, loss and life’s challenges and mysteries. \nCombining raw\, emotive lyrics with powerhouse vocals and percussive guitar\, The Woebegones ask you to relate\, relax\, recover and revel in the sound of vulnerability\, resilience and strength.
