DESCRIPTION:Guelph Pipe Band c. 1926\, 1992.33.2 Guelph Museums \nIn commemoration of Robbie Burns Day on January 25\, we’ve cooked up an episode of History Bites exploring Scottish connections and traditions in the City of Guelph. Robbie Burns is the National Poet of Scotland and this Scottish holiday celebrates his life and body of work. But how is this historical figure connected to Guelph you may ask? You’ll have to tune in to find out! \nOn January 19 from 12 – 1 pm\, join us as we explore the city’s Scottish roots\, and the contemporary connections between the Scottish diaspora and Guelph today. \nThis event is free to enjoy\, and will stream on our Facebook Live @guelphmuseums.
