March 27, 2015 @ 9:00 am - August 9, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

illustration of poppies

A juried art exhibition by local artists commemorating the 100th anniversary of the writing of In Flanders Fields.

Since its publication 100 years ago, John McCrae’s In Flanders Fields has inspired responses from artists of all kinds. The poem has been set to music; answered in verse; and been the impetus for large-scale works of installation art.

Now the poem is being interpreted anew by Guelph and Wellington County visual artists as part of a new Guelph Museums iuried art show, entitled Remembering In Flanders Fields.

"The Survivors," a print by Guelph artist Clive Lewis.
