Kick off the new year with an old Fourth Friday favourite, MacTalla Road! Drawing on long-time traditional and roots sources for inspiration, MacTalla Road likes to play straight-up traditional sets as well as blur the lines with entangled arrangements.

Every Fourth Friday of the month enjoy free admission to the Civic Museum from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and a free concert starting at 7 p.m.

MacTalla Road is Carole Pines (vocals, penny whistles, piano, guitar) and Bob MacLean (vocals, guitar, mandolin). We are a fun toe-tapping Celtic/Trad duo performing songs and tunes with a traditional /East Coast/UK feel. Listeners have said “You’re really good and you’re really different.” …. Different because of our trad/folk stylings that you just don’t hear everyday.
