Oshungo Drum and Dance, Rita Chiarelli, and The Cocksure Lads among Oh Canada Concerts at Guelph Civic Museum

GUELPH, ON, February 13, 2017: Fourth Fridays will take on a distinctively Canadian flair this year as Guelph Museums presents Oh Canada Concerts in celebration of the Canada 150, Guelph 190.

Free concerts showcasing the diversity of Canadian talent will be held the fourth Friday of each month at the Civic Museum.  The series opened on January 27 with Ojibway storyteller Aaron Bell.

Next up, Oshungo Drum and Dance offer an evening of drumming, dancing and storytelling Friday, February 24. Presented in partnership with the Guelph Black Heritage Society, this show celebrates Black History Month with traditional African and Caribbean rhythms.

Admission to the Museum is free after 5 PM on Fourth Fridays.  Concerts begin at 7 PM.  Guelph Civic Museum is located at 52 Norfolk Street, Guelph.
