Tap into Tiff with Guelph Museums’ very own TIFF enthusiast Tammy Adkin! This package includes 6 tickets for regular screening films during the opening weekend of the Toronto International Film Festival (September 8 to 10, 2017), a TIFF 2017 program book, and a $500 Hotels.com gift card.  Tammy will be your TIFF concierge,  helping you select films, ordering your tickets, and providing on-the-ground orientation to the TIFF festivities. She’ll provide “outsider” tips on shows to see, and places to be for celebrity sightings – if you’re into that.  To get you warmed up, TIFF has provided 8 tickets for regular screenings at TIFF Bell Lightbox to be used before August 1.

Tai Chi and Chai Tea
Cultivate health and harmony through Tai Chi led by Guelph Museums Advisory Committee member Linda Kearns. Afterward, enjoy Chai tea (or Guelph Museums signature tea blends) in the peaceful atmosphere of the McCrae House backyard. Maximum 12 participants.

Bird Banding at Guelph Lake Nature Centre
Master bird bander Dave Lamble will be your guide as you count and band birds at the Guelph Lake Nature Centre. Learn about challenges to the bird community with Monica Young and Jeremy DeWaard of the University of Guelph, and Kevin Kerr of the Toronto Zoo. And take a guided bird hike to feed the chickadees with Greg Meredith, Guelph Lake’s environmental educator. Maximum 20 participants.

Pick-a-Prize

Find your way to the chandelier on the second floor that is laden with envelopes.  Each envelope contains a mystery prize with a minimum value of $20. Charge $20 to your bid number to purchase your “pick” and reveal your mystery prize.
