A display of artwork by elementary and high school students of the Upper Grand District School Board, promoting equity and diversity in the classroom for First Nations, Métis and Inuit students.

“The exhibit name, Zoongeheshkwaad, was suggested by Isaac Murdoch, an Ojibwe knowledge carrier who does a lot of work in Upper Grand. Loosely translated, it means to help someone move forward in a good way, to encourage others to move ahead together,” said Colinda Clyne, the Upper Grand DSB’s Curriculum Lead for Equity/First Nations, Métis, Inuit Education.

The show has previously been on display at the Wellington County Museum.
