Fourth Friday: Ian Bell

July 28 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

| FREE

To celebrate Canada at 150 and Guelph at 190, Guelph Museums presents Fourth Friday: Oh Canada Concert Series. Kick off your weekend with a performance by Ian Bell! On the Fourth Friday of the month, Guelph Museums offers free admission to the Guelph Civic Museum after 5 PM, and performance at 7 PM.

Visitors can explore all exhibitions, including To The Gathering Place, A Ripple Effect: Canadians & Fresh Water and Wall of Art: O Canada.

Ian Bell has none-the-less performed across Canada and in the United States since the late 1970s on his own and with many ensembles. He has appeared at numerous folk festivals and in concerts and dances in venues ranging from Roy Thompson Hall to Randy Haskell’s barn. Ian was first smitten by the folk songs he heard at hootenannies he attended with his parents in the very early ‘60s, and later at the Mariposa Festivals of the early ‘70s.
