Fourth Friday: Annakin Slayd

To celebrate Canada at 150 and Guelph at 190, Guelph Museums presents Fourth Friday: Oh Canada Concert Series. Kick off your weekend with a performance by Annakin Slayd! On the Fourth Friday of the month, Guelph Museums offers free admission to the Guelph Civic Museum after 5 PM, and performance at 7 PM.

Visitors can explore all exhibitions, including Canadian, Eh!, To The Gathering Place and Wall of Art: Standing Guard.

Annakin Slayd aka Andrew Farrar is a writer/director/actor/musician from Montreal. He founded an award-winning theatre company, Untimely Ripped Entertainment at the age of 21. He has written numerous plays, including the Canadian success “Tecumseh As A Doorstop” and the Off-Broadway cult success, “Killing Jar Jar”. He has directed many theatre productions in Montreal, Vancouver and New York’s independent scene. Slayd is famous for his sports anthems celebrating the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens and the MLB’s Montreal Expos.
