Early Guelph revisited during Guelph Museums’ Spirit Walk 1867

GUELPH, ON, August 28, 2017: On Sunday, September 17, savour the tales Guelph’s spirits have to tell during Guelph Museums’ Spirit Walk at Woodlawn Memorial Park. With tours departing from the mausoleum, the annual Spirit Walk takes participants on a guided tour through the historic cemetery and introduces them to some of Guelph’s most notable residents of the past.

Participants can look forward to meeting six spirits portrayed by local actors. Among those appearing this year are Dr. Thomas C. Parker, former mayor of Guelph, and Dr. Henry Orton, known to be one of the best physicians in the district.

Each guided walking tour is 90 minutes long.  Tours begin at 1:00 p.m., 1:20 p.m., 1:40 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 2:20 p.m.
